24/7/365 Emergency Response Family-owned since 1974
Family-owned since 1974

Two generations.
One last name on the truck.

Millers Restoration started in 1974 with a complaint about a carpet — and a simple dare to do it better. Fifty years later we're still family-owned, still answering the phone in the middle of the night, and still holding the same standard: when something terrible happens to a family's home or business, the people who show up should treat it like their own.

Our story

It began with a dare.

In 1974, Tom Miller — an Air Force veteran and lithographer in Fremont, Ohio — came home to find the carpets poorly cleaned and overpriced, a job his wife Mary had arranged.

Mary — pregnant at the time with their third son, Curt — had a simple answer: “If you think you can do it better, then do it.” So he did. That year Tom founded Miller's Cleaning Service, which grew past 50 employees serving banks, offices, and manufacturers across the region — built on one principle Mary never bent: take care of your people first, and they'll take care of every client.

That third son was born into the business and grew up to run it. Second-generation owner Curtis J. Miller started at 14 and bought the carpet-cleaning division at 18 — a one-truck operation in Bowling Green and Perrysburg. The early years nearly wore him down, until he learned to build systems and a team instead of carrying everything himself.

That shift built the company Millers is today: full-service fire, water, mold, and contents restoration across Ohio and Michigan, anchored by a 15,000 sq ft headquarters and training academy in Bowling Green. Five decades on, the standard hasn't moved an inch — every detail matters, because every job is someone's worst day.

We answer at 2 a.m.

Live phones and live crews, 24/7/365. Disaster doesn't keep business hours, so neither do we.

One accountable crew

Mitigation, contents, and full reconstruction under one roof — no handing your loss to a subcontractor you've never met.

Test, document, rebuild

The Pin Point Process on every job — science and technology, not spray-and-hope. We prove the work is done right.

The Millers Pin Point Process

We investigate everything.

Every service we offer runs on the Pin Point Process — infrared imaging, moisture meters, Pin Point Mapping, and daily environmental readings that produce irrefutable data and pinpoint accuracy. It's the level of service that makes sure nothing is missed and nothing is guessed.
